Welcome to iwaokay.com

I created this space to record stories, moments and the rhythm of time through my own eyes, in photos, in writing and in feelings. Think of it as a personal online diary for sharing stories with you: the things I love, like gadgets, tech and lifestyle activities, plus travel journals and everyday perspectives, from ordinary days to the days I hit the road.

The Story Behind “I WA OKAY”

The name “I WA OKAY” was chosen to carry two meanings, in two languages, at the same time.

🇺🇸 IN ENGLISH

I WAS OKAY

In English, it sounds like “I WAS OKAY”: a moment from the past, kept on record. No matter how much sun, wind, rain or chaos a trip or a day threw at me, looking back at those photos is proof to myself that “in that moment, I was okay, and I made it through.”

🇹🇭 IN THAI

กูว่าโอเค

At the same time, read out loud in Thai, it sounds like “กูว่าโอเค”, a very casual everyday phrase meaning something like “eh, I think it’s okay.” It’s the line that always pops into my head when things get tough, a little pep talk to myself: I gave it my best, now let it flow at its own pace… “Yeah… I think it’s gonna be okay.”

So for me, a photo isn’t just a way to capture how beautiful a place is. It’s the truest “record of a feeling” and a “time capsule.”
